Key-In-Ignition Chime
The key in ignition chime sounds when a ignition key is in the ignition switch and the LH front door is open. When a key is in the ignition switch (key-in-ignition switch is closed) a ground condition exists on CKT 80 (LT URN). When the LH front door is open (LH front door jamb switch is closed) a ground condition exists on CKT 155 (BLK). When the Body Control Module (MALL) detects a ground condition at both circuits and there is no ignition positive voltage on CKT 39 (PNK), the medium-pulsed key in ignition chime sounds.
