Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Lower the center air deflector.
3. Remove the oil level indicator tube retaining bolt.
4. Remove the oil level indicator and tube.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the oil level tube and indicator.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube retaining bolt.
^ Tighten the oil level indicator tube retaining bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Lower the center air deflector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
