Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement

IP Carrier:

IMPORTANT
^ After a non-deployment accident, visually inspect the IP carrier for damage or deformation. Any visible damage would indicate structural damage and therefore mandate IP carrier replacement.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
^ Disable SIR system.
1. Console (if equipped).
2. Instrument cluster trim plate.
3. Upper trim pad.
4. Windshield garnish moldings.
5. Sound insulators.
6. Knee bolster.
7. IP storage compartment assembly.
^ Place protective cloth on steering column to protect column from scratches.
8. Radio.
9. Heater and A/C control.
10. Bolts (2).
^ Pull IP carrier away from dash.
11. Electrical connectors (i.e. IP interconnect).
12. Antenna coax cable.
13. IP carrier.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. IP carrier (being sure that IP carrier is centered).
2. Electrical connectors.
3. Antenna coax cable.
4. Bolts (2).
5. Heater and A/C control.
6. Radio.
7. IP storage compartment.
8. Knee holster.
9. Sound insulators.
10. Windshield garnish moldings.
11. Upper trim pad.
12. Cluster trim plate.
13. Console.
14. Enable SIR system.
