Scan Button

The SCAN push-button is momentary type control that is shared with the preset scan feature. Pressing the button will immediately mute the audio. Releasing the button within 2 seconds will cause the frequency to increase until a signal of sufficient strength enables stopping. After stopping. the audio is un-muted while the tuner pauses for 5 seconds before again muting and continuing scanning.

If the SCAN button is depressed a second time or if no stations are found after two complete band cycles, the scan action will cease and the receiver will revert or stay tuned to the last frequency that was selected.

^ If the TUNE control is adjusted while scanning, the scan action will cease and the frequency change from the preset scanned frequency.
