Fast Reverse Button (REV)

The REV (fast reverse) button is a non-latching momentary contact control that serves a dual function with radio preset 1. Depressing the REV button moves the tape in the reverse direction at a rapid speed until this button is depressed a second time or the program button is depressed to return the unit to the normal play mode. During rewind, the audio reverts to the radio. If no operator changes occur, rewinding continues until the beginning of the tape is reached, whereupon the unit returns to the play mode. Time of Day (TOD) will remain displayed and a program arrow will blink while in the fast reverse mode.
