Lower Control Valve Assy, Accumulator Assy, Spacer Plate Gasket & Lower Channel Plate

LWR CONT VALVE ASSY, ACUM ASSY, SPCR PLT GSKT & LWR CHANNEL PLT 4T80-E TRANSAXLE

INSTALLATION




1. Insert guide pins from tool No. J-39630-1, or equivalent, into lower channel plate as shown. Rest channel plate on pin heads.




2. Install guide pins from tool No. J-39630-2, or equivalent, into channel plate, then install gasket/spacer plate.




3. Install four valve body check balls.




4. Install lower valve body over guide pins. Install valve body bolts other than bolts for pressure switch assembly, then hand tighten.
5. Install plate and three bolts. Torque bolts 6-10 ft. lbs.
6. Remove guide pins, then install transaxle pressure switch onto valve body with bolts.




7. Install remaining valve body bolts, including bolt on channel plate side. Torque bolts in star pattern to 6-10 ft. lbs.




8. Install four accumulator housing check balls.
9. Install guide pins from tool No. J-39630-2, or equivalent, for accumulator housing, then spring onto channel plate (washer side down).




10. Install accumulator housing to lower channel plate, with bolts hand tight.




11. Remove guide pins and install remaining bolts, including three bolts on channel plate side. Torque bolts in star pattern to 6-10 ft. lbs.
