Fig. 5 Control Arm Bushing Replacement:

The rear horizontal control arm bushing is serviced with the control arm and cannot be serviced separately.
1. Remove control arm.
2. Assemble specified bushing tools or equivalent substitutes as follows:
a. Bolt tool No. J-21474-27, or equivalent, with washer through bushing receiver, tool No. J-21474-5, or equivalent, with larger diameter end over bushing against control arm, Fig. 5.
b. Coat bolt threads with high pressure lubricant part No. J-23444A, or equivalent.
c. Install bushing remover tool No. J-41014-1, or equivalent, thrust bearing and nut tool No. J-21474-4 onto bolt tool No. J-21474-27 or equivalents.
3. Tighten nut until bushing is driven out of control arm.
4. Remove bushing tools.
5. To install bushing, assemble bushing tools as described in step 2, using bushing installer tool No. J-21474-13, or equivalent, instead of bushing remover.
