Circuit Operation
The
seat belt retractor system automatically retracts the driver's and passenger's
seat belts. When the car is stopped and the driver unbuckles his seat belt, the seat belt retracts when the driver's door opens. The passenger seat belt retracts in the same way when the passenger's door opens. When either door opens, battery voltage is applied from the Rear Fuse Block PWR LKS Fuse to the retractor solenoid to retract the unbuckled seat belt. Both circuits are identical, and each consists of a retractor solenoid and a door switch assembly.
