Throttle Body Spacer Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the negative battery cable.

Intake Manifold Top Cover:

3. Remove the intake manifold top cover.

Intake Air Duct:

4. Remove the intake air duct.

MAF Sensor:

5. Remove the MAF connector.
6. Remove the MAF sensor.

Accelerator Bracket:

7. Remove the accelerator cable bracket.

Throttle Body:

8. Remove the throttle body.

Throttle Body:

9. Remove the throttle body spacer bolts (3).

Crankcase Ventilation Pipe:

10. Remove the crankcase ventilation pipe at throttle body spacer.

EGR Valve Water Pump Crossover Pipe:

11. Remove the EGR valve water pump crossover pipe crankcase ventilation pipe at throttle body spacer.
12. Remove the throttle body spacer and gasket from the intake manifold.
13. Clean the throttle body gasket surfaces.
14. Clean the throttle body spacer gasket surfaces.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the throttle body spacer. Tighten the throttle body spacer attaching bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
2. Install the new gasket and throttle body. Tighten the throttle body attaching bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
3. Install the crankcase ventilation pipe at throttle body spacer.
4. Install the EGR pipe and crankcase ventilation pipe to throttle body spacer. Tighten the EGR pipe bolt to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).
5. lnstall the throttle body.
6. Install the MAF sensor.
7. Install the MAF connector.
8. Install the accelerator cable bracket.
9. Install the intake air duct.
10. Install the intake manifold top cover.
11. Install the negative battery cable.
12. Install the rear seat cushion.
