1996 Cadillac DeVille, Eldorado, Seville
1996-97 Oldsmobile Aurora
with 4.0L, 4.6L Engine (VINs C, Y, 9 - RPOs L47, LD8, L37)

This bulletin is being issued to revise service information for the following DTCs:

DTC P0102 Step 6 of the diagnostic table, add a short to voltage as a possible circuit failure.

DTC P0401 Steps 4 and 5 of the diagnostic table, the vacuum values specified are measured in inches of mercury (in. Hg.).

DTC P1323 Step 6 of the diagnostic table, change the value specified to 200 Hz.

DTC P1441 Step 10 of the diagnostic table, change "the same or LESS than" to "the same or MORE than".

DTC P1641 Step 4 of the diagnostic table, change the question from "OK" to "OVERCURRENT".
