Troubleshooting Hints - Gauges Cluster
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check I/P Fuse Block fuses by visual inspection.
2. Check Rear Fuse Block I/P 1 Fuse by visual inspection. If I/P 1 Fuse is blown, a battery feed sneak path exists from the HZRD/STOP Fuse to the IPC. Therefore, the IPC may not be completely shut down.
3. If more than one indicator or gage is out, check common power and ground inputs.
4. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check. (Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures.)
5. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may effect the integrity of other systems. (Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures.) Diagnostic Aids
