Tech 1 Method
Select F2 for diagnostic trouble codes. Alter DTCs have been viewed completely, Tech 1 will ask, "CLEAR DTCs?"; answer YES." The Tech 1 will then read, "HISTORY DATA WILL BE LOST. CLEAR DTCs?" Answer "YES" and the DTC will be cleared.
NOTE: Most after market scan tools will NOT access / clear these codes. Follow the proper instructions, located in the owners manual, for the specific scan tool being used.
