Oil Pump Service

DISASSEMBLE
1. Remove drive spacer from pump housing.
2. Remove two screws holding pump housing halves together.
3. Remove inner (drive) and outer (driven) rotors out of housing. Mark mating surfaces.
4. Remove pressure relief valve.

ASSEMBLE
1. Install inner and outer rotors to pump cover in same position as they were removed (dimples out).
2. Install pressure relief valve seat, spring and pilot in pump housing.
3. Assemble housing and cover over locating dowel.
4. Insert a 3/8 inch drill in pump mounting hole on opposite side to aid in alignment of housing and cover.
5. Install screws and tighten to specifications.
