Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Front Engine Mount:

1. Install engine support fixture tool No. J-28467-A, core support wedges tool No. J-28467-350 and core support bar tool No. J-28467-330, or equivalents, lifting devices to engine.
2. Remove engine mount to body through bolt.
3. Remove torque axis engine mount from engine mount bracket, Fig. 1.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Remove right front tire and wheel assembly.
6. Remove splash shield from wheel well.
7. Remove lower center air deflector.
8. Remove left transaxle mount to cradle through bolt.
9. Remove lower retaining bolt/nut from engine mount bracket.
10. Remove power steering pump and set aside.
11. Raise engine with support fixture.
12. Remove engine mount bracket from engine.
13. Remove torque axis mount from body.
14. Reverse procedure to install.
