Gap Between Door Opening Weatherstrip and Roof Line (Install Two Additional Screws)

Condition
Some owners may comment on a gap between the door opening weatherstrip and roof line. An appearance concern and/or windnoise issue may result due to this condition.
Cause
Drip molding does not have the proper retention with existing screws causing molding to "creep", resulting in a gap.
Correction
1. Remove weatherstrip at the affected area.
2. Loosen weatherstrip retainer attaching screws.
3. Hand force drip molding to desired position.
4. Re-tighten weatherstrip retainer attaching screws.
5. Drive two (2) additional screws, P/N 10180421, through the weatherstrip retainer and drip molding to hold roof drip side molding in position (Figure 1).
6. Reinstall weatherstrip.
