Resynchronizing Transmitters

If a transmitter does not seem to work anymore, and you are sure the battery is good, try the Panic button. If the Panic button does not work, the transmitter is bad. However, if the Panic button does beep the horn and flash the lights, the transmitter is out of sync. With the RFA system, there are two ways a transmitter can get out of sync: changing the transmitter's battery, and pressing the transmitter buttons too many times while out of range of the vehicle.

To resync the transmitters, do not jumper the DLC. Press and hold the Lock and Unlock buttons for about 8 seconds until the horn chirps and the lights flash. The transmitter is now synchronized.
