Circuit Operation - Driver Select Shift

The Driver Select Shift Automatic Transmission System allows the driver to choose from two shift patterns NORMAL and POWER, by pressing the Driver Select Shift Switch. The POWER shift pattern has higher engine RPM upshifts, and downshifts which occur at a lower percentage of throttle pedal position than the NORMAL shift pattern. The POWER shift pattern also offers increased engine torque output during second and third gear transmissions operations.
