Fig. 6 Stabilizer Shaft & Link Assembly:

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove front wheels.
3. Remove left side and right side stabilizer link bolts, Fig. 6.
4. Remove left side and right side stabilizer shaft brackets.
5. Using tool No. J-24319B, or equivalent, separate left side tie rod end from knuckle.
6. Remove lower exhaust pipe by disconnecting from exhaust manifold and intermediate exhaust hangers.
7. Turn left strut completely to the right. Slide stabilizer shaft outboard over the left steering knuckle until right end comes free.
8. Remove stabilizer shaft from center of vehicle.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
