Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

Knock Sensor Replacement:

Knock Sensor Heat Shield:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and support.
2. Right front tire and wheel.
3. Electrical connector at sensor.
4. Sensor at engine block.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Sensor at engine block.

Tighten
Sensor to 19 Nm (14 lb. ft.).

2. Electrical connector at sensor.
3. Right front tire and wheel.
4. Lower vehicle.
