Dieseling/Run-On

DEFINITION
Engine continues to run after key is turned "OFF," but runs very roughly. If engine runs smoothly, check ignition switch and adjustment.

PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Perform the careful visual/physical check as described in Preliminary Checks.

FUEL SYSTEM
Check:
Injectors for leaking. Refer to "Fuel System Diagnosis" Chart A-7. Testing and Inspection
