Interior Lamps

The Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter sends a digitally encoded radio signal to the Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module in response to a button on the transmitter heing pressed. The Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module interprets the signal and turns on its output at terminal J, grounding the Interior Lamps Relay Coil, and energizing the relay. With the relay energized; its contacts close providing a ground path for the interior courtesy lamps.

The Rail Lamps are activated by the respective rail switches.

The Dome Lamps are activated by the respective dome lamp switches. The Illuminated Vanity Mirrors are activated by their individual switches.

The Luggage Compartment Lamp is turned on when the lid is opened, closing the switch which provides a ground path.

The I/P Compartment and Console Compartment Lamps are activated by their respective switches.
