Change Oil or Change Oil Now Message

When the engine oil life index has reached 10 or less, the Driver Information System display will indicate distance to oil change and sound a beep when the ignition switch is placed in the RUN or ACC position for the first time each day. When the engine oil life index has reached zero, the Driver Information System display will indicate Change Oil Now and sound a beep, when ignition switch is placed in the RUN or ACC position for the first time each day. After engine oil change has been performed, the oil life index may be reset as follows:

1. Depress the TEST button and release.
2. Depress OIL button and release.
3. Depress and hold the RESET button for five to seven seconds.
