Troubleshooting Hints - Chime

TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK.
1. Check I/P Fuse Block TURN LPS and CHIME Fuse by visual inspection.
2. Check Rear Fuse Block I/P 1 Fuse by visual inspection. If I/P 1 Fuse is blown, there is still a battery feed from the HZRD/STOP Fuse to the Multi-Function Chime Module (Buick) or Instrument Cluster (Oldsmobile). Therefore, the Multi-Function Chime Module (Buick) or Instrument Cluster (Oldsmobile) may not be completely shut down.
