Base Idle Speed

The Base Idle Speed is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) which operated the Idle Speed Control (ISC) Motor. The ISC motor is NOT mechanically adjustable. If Controlled Idle Speed is incorrect, begin diagnosis at Computers and Control Systems / System Diagnosis / Flow of Diagnosis.
