DTC 95

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors engine speed and stores DTC 95 if an engine stall or near stall is detected.

DTC 95 WILL SET WHEN
- Engine speed is initially over 400 RPM, indicating run mode.
- Engine speed drops to 0 RPM.
- Ignition has not been turned "OFF."

ACTION TAKEN (PCM WILL DEFAULT TO)
When DTC 95 is set, the PCM stores a snapshot of the conditions present when the stall occurred. DTC 95 does not illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) (Service Engine Soon).

DTC 95 WILL CLEAR WHEN
The fault no longer exists.
