REAR BUMPER

Removal and Installation












REMOVAL

1.Open trunk lid.
2.Release the clips and remove rear trunk plate. .
3.Remove rear combination lamp assemblies (RH/LH). Removal and Replacement.
4.Remove the clips, then remove rear fender protectors (RH/LH).
5.Remove rear bumper fascia lower clips and upper screws (RH/LH).





6.Release rear bumper side retainer (1) from rear bumper fascia, pulling outward to disengage.
7.Remove rear bumper fascia upper clips and screws.





8.Release rear bumper upper retainer (1), then pull rear bumper fascia rearward and remove.
9.Remove the clip and energy absorber block, then release the tabs and remove energy absorbing plastic from rear bumper reinforcement.
10.Remove the bolts and rear bumper reinforcement.
11.Release the pawls and remove the rear bumper side retainers (RH/LH).

INSTALLATION






Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
