TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR SYMPTOMS

In "N" Position, Vehicle Moves


SYMPTOM:

Vehicle moves forward or backward when selecting "N" position.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE


1. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS

Perform self-diagnosis check. CVT Trouble Diagnosis.
Do the self-diagnostic results indicate transmission range switch circuit?
YES- Check transmission range switch circuit. Refer to {LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007402376}{LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007402377}{LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007402378}{LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007402379}{LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007402380}.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK CVT POSITION

Check CVT position. Testing and Inspection.
OK or NG
OK- GO TO 3.
NG- Adjust CVT position. Shift Control System.

3. CHECK CVT FLUID LEVEL

Check CVT fluid level. Procedures.
OK or NG
OK- GO TO 4.
NG- Refill CVT fluid.

4. CHECK SYMPTOM

Check again. CVT Trouble Diagnosis.
OK or NG
OK-INSPECTION END
NG- GO TO 5.

5. CHECK TCM

1.Check TCM input/output signals. CVT Trouble Diagnosis.
2.If NG, re-check TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
OK or NG
OK- Replace the transaxle assembly. Removal And Installation
(MR-20DE), Removal And Installation (QR-25DE).
NG- Repair or replace damaged parts.
