Woofer Amp. On Signal Circuit

WOOFER AMP. ON SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Description

When the navigation system is turned on, a voltage signal is supplied from the NAVI control unit to the woofer.
When this signal is received, the woofer will turn on.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK CONTINUITY WOOFER AMP. ON SIGNAL CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect NAVI control unit connector and woofer connector.
3.Check continuity between NAVI control unit harness connector and woofer harness connector.





4.Check continuity between woofer harness connector and ground.





Is inspection result OK?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Repair harness or connector.

2. CHECK VOLTAGE WOOFER AMP. ON SIGNAL

1.Connect NAVI control unit connector
2.Turn ignition switch ON.
3.Check voltage between NAVI control unit harness connector and ground.





Is inspection result OK?
YES- Replace woofer. Woofer.
NO- Replace NAVI control unit. Service and Repair.
