Both Doors Mirror Defogger Do not Operate But Rear Window Defogger Operates

BOTH DOORS MIRROR DEFOGGER DON'T OPERATE BUT REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER OPERATES

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, Rear Window Defogger Coupe or Rear Window Defogger Sedan.

1. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER FUSE

Check if the following fuse in fuse block (J/B) is blown.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2
NO- If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse.

2. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Check voltage between fuse block (J/B) harness connector M5 and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3
NO- Replace fuse block (J/B).

3. CHECK BOTH DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER

1.Check door mirror LH. Driver Side Door Mirror Defogger.
2.Check door mirror RH. Passenger Side Door Mirror Defogger.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
