Inspection and Adjustment


INSPECTION BEFORE INSTALLATION






After installing the torque converter to the CVT, be sure to check distance (A) to ensure it is within specifications.
Distance (A): 14.4 mm (0.567 in)


INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION

Check the following.
- Check for CVT fluid leakage and check CVT fluid level. Inspection.
- Check CVT position. Inspection.
- Start and warm up the engine. Visually check that there is no leakage of engine coolant and CVT fluid.

ADJUSTMENT AFTER INSTALLATION

Erase TCM data.
- Erase CVT fluid degradation level data. CONSULT Function (Transmission).
- When replacing the transaxle assembly, erase EEP ROM in TCM. Programming and Relearning, "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CONTROL UNIT : Service After Replacing TCM, Transaxle Assembly, or Control
Valve".
