Removal and Installation for High-Pressure Flexible Hose

Removal
CAUTION:
Cap or wrap the joint of the hose with a suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of contaminants.
1.Discharge the refrigerant. HFC-134A (R-134A) Service Procedure.
2.Remove the front air duct. Service and Repair
3.Remove the grille. Sedan
4.Reposition the engine coolant reservoir out of the way without disconnecting the hose.
5.Disconnect the high-pressure flexible hose from the compressor.
6.Disconnect the high-pressure flexible hose from the condenser.
7.Remove the high-pressure flexible hose. Component.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Do not reuse the O-rings.
- Apply A/C compressor oil to the new O-rings for installation.
- After charging the refrigerant, check for leaks. Checking Of Refrigerant Leaks.

3.Remove the front air duct. Service and Repair
4.Remove the engine cooling fan and shroud assembly. Removal and Installation.
5.Disconnect the high-pressure flexible hose from the compressor.
6.Disconnect the high-pressure flexible hose from the condenser.
7.Remove the high-pressure flexible hose.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Do not reuse the O-rings.
