Vehicle Jerks During VDC/TCS/ABS Control




VEHICLE JERKS DURING VDC/TCS/ABS CONTROL

Diagnosis Procedure


1. SYMPTOM CHECK

Check if the vehicle jerks during VDC/TCS/ABS control.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Inspection End.
NO- GO TO 2

2. CHECK SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

Perform self diagnostic result of ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). VDC/TCS/ABS.
Are self diagnostic results indicated?
YES- Check corresponding items, make repairs, and perform ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) self diagnostic result again. VDC/TCS/ABS.
NO- GO TO 3


3. CHECK CONNECTOR

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector.
3.Check terminals for deformation, disconnection, looseness, etc.
4.Securely connect connector and perform ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) self diagnostic result. VDC/TCS/ABS.
Are self diagnostic results indicated?
YES- If poor contact, damage, open or short circuit of connector terminal is found, repair or replace.
NO- GO TO 4

4. CHECK ECM AND CVT SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

1.Perform ECM self diagnostic result. For California (QR25DE for California), For USA And Canada (QR25DE for USA and Canada) or CONSULT Function
(VQ35DE).
2.Perform CVT self diagnostic result. CONSULT Function (Transmission) (QR25DE) or CONSULT Function (VQ35DE).
Are self diagnostic results indicated?
YES-Check the corresponding items.
- ECM: Testing and Inspection (QR25DE for California), Testing and Inspection (QR25DE for USA and Canada) or Testing and Inspection (VQ35DE).
- CVT: Testing and Inspection (QR25DE) or Testing and Inspection (VQ35DE).
NO- Replace ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). VDC/TCS/ABS.
