Fail-Safe


ABS SYSTEM

In case of electrical malfunctions with the ABS system, the ABS warning lamp turns ON and the ABS system switches to fail-safe mode.
- The result of fail-safe mode is normal braking without the assistance of ABS.
NOTE:
ABS self diagnosis sound may be heard during "Ignition switch ON" and "first starting," this is normal during fail-safe mode.

CAUTION:
If the Fail-Safe function is activated, ABS system self diagnosis must be performed.
