SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR CIRCUIT

Component Function Check


1. CHECK SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR

1.Set the vehicle to READY.
2.Shift the selector lever.
3.Check that the indication of the shift position indicator in the combination meter corresponds to the selected shift position.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Go to "Diagnosis Procedure" .


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK DTC OF ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROL MODULE

With CONSULT
1.Power switch ON.
2.Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "SHIFT".
Is any DTC detected?
YES- Check DTC detected item.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK DTC OF VCM

With CONSULT
1.Power switch ON.
2.Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "EV/HEV".
Is any DTC detected?
YES- Check DTC detected item.
NO- GO TO 3.

3. CHECK DTC OF COMBINATION METER

With CONSULT
1.Power switch ON.
2.Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "METER".
Is any DTC detected?
YES- Check DTC detected item.
NO- 1.Check intermittent incident. Refer to "Intermittent Incident" Intermittent Incident.
2.If inspection result is OK, replace the combination meter. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal And Installation.
