HEADLAMP WARNING LAMP

Component Function Check


1. CHECK HEADLAMP WARNING LAMP OPERATION

1.Turn power switch OFF.
2.Disconnect front combination lamp connector.
3.Check that headlamp warning lamp on combination meter turns ON when power switch is turned ON.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Headlamp warning lamp is normal.
NO- Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" .


Diagnosis Procedure


1. LED HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE FUSE

1.Turn power switch OFF.
2.Check that the following fuse is not fusing.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Repair the applicable circuit. And then replace the fuse.

2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.Disconnect front combination lamp connector.
2.Turn power switch ON.
3.Check voltage between front combination lamp harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Repair or replace harness.

3. CHECK HEADLAMP WRNING LAMP SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Check voltage between front combination lamp harness connector and ground.
Except for Canada





For Canada





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Replace LED head lamp control module

4. CHECK HEADLAMP WRNING LAMP SIGNAL SHORT CIRCUIT

1.Turn power switch OFF.
2.Disconnect combination meter connector.
3.Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 5.
NO- Repair or replace harness.

5. CHECK COMBINATION METER

Check combination meter. Refer to "Work flow" Work Flow.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" Both Side Headlamps (LO) Are Not Turned On.
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
