Removal And Installation




CONDENSER

REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR : Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
Perform lubricant return operation before each refrigeration system disassembly. However, if a large amount of refrigerant or lubricant is detected, never perform lubricant return operation. Refer to"Perform Lubricant Return Operation" Perform Lubricant Return Operation

REMOVAL

1.Remove liquid tank. Refer to "LIQUID TANK : Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.





2.Use a vise (A) to fasten the liquid tank (1) in place, then use a spanner (B) and remove the refrigerant pressure sensor (2).

CAUTION:
- Wrap the liquid tank with shopcloth to prevent scratches.
- To prevent the inclusion of foreign matter, use a cap or vinyl tape to seal off the refrigerant pressure sensor mounting point on the liquid tank from the atmosphere.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- To prevent leakage of refrigerant, replace the O-ring with a new one. Apply a coat of compressor oil to the O-ring prior to installation.
- Perform a check for refrigerant leakage when charging with refrigerant. Refer to "Check Refrigerant Leakage" Check Refrigerant Leakage.
