Removal and Installation of Rear Seat Belt

60:40 Split Fold Down Seat











Fixed Back Seat











REMOVAL OF SEAT BELT RETRACTOR - 60:40 SPLIT FOLD DOWN SEAT
1. Remove the rear seat cushion, then release the latch and fold down the seat back. Removal and Installation.
2. Remove the kicking plate upper and lower finishers. Body Side Trim.
3. Remove the lower anchor.
- For RH/LH lower anchor, remove the lower anchor bolt.
- For center lower anchor, release the center latch.
4. Release the tabs and remove the seat belt escutcheon.
5. Remove the rear parcel shelf finisher. Service and Repair.
6. Remove the seat belt retractor anchor bolt, then remove the seat belt retractor.

INSTALLATION OF SEAT BELT RETRACTOR - 60:40 SPLIT FOLD DOWN SEAT
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL OF SEAT BELT RETRACTOR - FIXED BACK SEAT
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and seat back. Removal and Installation.
2. Remove the kicking plate upper and lower finishers. Body Side Trim.
3. Remove the lower anchor bolt.
4. Release the tabs and remove the seat belt escutcheon.
5. Remove the rear parcel shelf finisher. Service and Repair.
6. Remove the seat belt retractor anchor bolt, then remove the seat belt retractor.

INSTALLATION OF SEAT BELT RETRACTOR - FIXED BACK SEAT
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL OF SEAT BELT BUCKLE
1. Remove rear seat cushion. Removal and Installation for 60:40 split fold down seat, and Fixed Back Seat for fixed back seat.
2. Remove seat belt buckle anchor bolt, then remove seat belt buckle.

INSTALLATION OF SEAT BELT BUCKLE
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Be sure to align buckle with raised edge on floor before tightening seat belt buckle anchor bolt.
