SERVICE INFORMATION





For the above Applied Vehicles, Nissan has adopted a new style door stopper link (front and rear door).

If a door stopper link requires replacement, the door mounting holes must be modified as shown in the Service Procedure of this bulletin to accommodate the new style link.

The new style link also requires two new bolts listed in the Parts information.





PARTS INFORMATION

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove the old door stopper link.





2. Modify the door mounting holes as shown in Figure 2.

3. Make sure to clean (vacuum) out any metal debris from inside the door.

4. Apply Zink Rich Primer to the modified holes.

Use one of the following Zinc Rich primers or an equivalent:

^ 3M(TM) Zinc Spray 16-501

5. Install the new door stopper link using the new bolts listed in the parts information.
