Hood Hinge: Service and Repair

HOOD HINGE

Removal
1. Remove the hood assembly.
2. Remove the front fender (s).




3. Remove the bolts (a) and the hood hinge (1).

Hood hinge bolts : 14.6 N.m (1.5 kg-m, 11 ft-lb)

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Before installing the hood hinge, apply anticorrosive agent to the surface that makes contact with the hoodledge.
- After installing, perform fitting adjustment. Refer to BL-13, "Fitting Adjustment". Adjustments
