INTRODUCTION

Nissan has determined that some 2007 model year Sentra vehicles may have been manufactured with one incorrect fuse reference on the fuse cover decal affixed to the back side of the sunglasses holder. The fuse cover decal incorrectly specifies a 15 amp fuse for the stop lamp, instead of the 10 amp fuse. All affected vehicles contain the correct 10 amp fuse.

To correct this condition, Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the fuse cover decal with a new decal containing the correct reference.

The customer will be sent a new fuse cover decal including instructions on how to replace the decal themselves. If the customer prefers, they can choose to bring their vehicle with the new fuse cover decal sent to them to a Nissan dealer for installation at no charge.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Nissan has assigned identification number PM606 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.

NUMBER OF VEHICLES POTENTIALLY AFFECTED

The number of vehicles potentially affected is approximately 4,012.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

Nissan recommends that dealers correct each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign that enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.
