Oil Pressure Warning Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

Oil Pressure Warning Lamp
The oil pressure warning lamp is controlled by the double meter. When the oil pressure is less than 4.52 psi (0.318 kg/sq.cm ), the double meter sends a ground signal to the IPDM E/R. The IPDM E/R then sends a signal to the combination meter via CAN communication and the oil pressure warning lamp is turned on. When the oil pressure is greater than 6.5 psi (0.457 kg/sq.cm) the warning lamp turns off.
