Sunroof / Moonroof: Service and Repair

Removal
- After any repair, check sunroof operation and glass lid alignment.
- Handle finisher plate and glass lid with care so as not to cause damage.
- To ease installation, mark each point before removal.

CAUTION:
- Always work with a helper.
- Before removal, fully close the glass lid assembly, then after removal, do not move the motor assembly.

SUNROOF LID ASSEMBLY
1. Open sunroof shade. A
2. Close glass lid. B
3. Remove the six bolts securing glass lid assembly to sunroof assembly. C

SHADE ASSEMBLY
1. After removing glass lid assembly, remove two screws securing drain channel. D
2. Remove drain channel. E
3. Remove shade assembly. F

SUNROOF ASSEMBLY
1. Remove headlining.
2. Disconnect front and rear drain hoses. G
3. Remove the two screws securing sunroof motor to sunroof assembly. H
4. Remove sunroof motor and bracket. J
5. Remove bolts securing sunroof assembly to roof. K
6. Remove sunroof assembly. L
