Non-Trouble Code Procedures

PRELIMINARY CHECK
The system operation is canceled by turning ignition switch to "ACC" at any step between START and ARMED in the following flow chart.

For details of "Pattern A" and "Pattern B" about vehicle security (theft warning) system setting.

After performing preliminary check, go to symptom chart .




SYMPTOM CHART
Before starting trouble diagnoses above, perform preliminary check.
Symptom numbers in the symptom chart correspond with those of preliminary check.

POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK




Power Supply Circuit Check
1. Disconnect smart entrance control unit harness connector.
2. Check voltage between smart entrance control unit harness connector M144 terminals 26 (PU), 27 (G), M145 terminal 49 (R/B) and ground.




Ground Circuit Check
1. Disconnect smart entrance control unit harness connector.
2. Check continuity between smart entrance control unit harness connector M144 terminal 43 (B), M145 terminal 64 (B) and ground.
