Inspection Procedure

SERVICE PROCEDURE

INSPECTION PROCEDURE:

1. Inspect the vehicle in a well lit area.

2. Open all four doors fully.

CAUTION: Make sure the vehicle being inspected has enough clearance around the doors to prevent any damage.

3. Stand at a right angle to the door while inspecting the finisher cloth. This will reduce shadows that may hide uneven or rough edges or gaps between the finisher cloth and door finisher.

4. The outer edges of the finisher cloth should be uniform and consistently smooth. There should be no rough or uneven edges (see Figure 1 for examples of rough or uneven edges).

5. The outer edges of the finisher cloth should also be fully inserted into the door finisher, with no gaps (see Figure 2 for an example of finisher cloth not fully inserted into the door finisher).

6. Repeat inspection steps 3 through 5 for the remaining 3 doors.

7. If any door(s) require repair, proceed with Repair Procedure.
