ELEMENT CHECK




1. Attach probe circuit tester (in ohm range) to antenna terminal on each side.
- If an element is OK, continuity should exist.
- If an element is broken, no continuity should exist. Go to step 2.







- When measuring continuity, wrap tin foil around the top of probe. Then press the foil against the wire with your finger.




2. To locate broken point, move probe along element. Tester needle will swing abruptly when probe passes the point.
