Collision Diagnosis

To repair the SRS, perform the following steps.

When SRS is activated in a collision:
1. Replace the diagnosis sensor unit.
2. Remove the air bag modules.
3. Check the SRS components using the table shown.
- Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks, deformation).
4. Install new air bag modules.
5. Conduct self-diagnosis. Refer to "Self-diagnosis". Ensure the remainder of the SRS is operating properly.

When SRS is not activated in a collision:









1. Check the SRS components. Refer to "SRS inspection".
- Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks, deformation).
2. Conduct self-diagnosis using CONSULT and "AIR BAG" warning lamp. Refer to "Self-diagnosis". Ensure entire SRS operates properly.
