CONSULT

Consult Inspection Procedure




1. Turn ignition switch "OFF".
2. Connect "CONSULT" to the data link connector.




3. Turn ignition switch "ON".
4. Touch "START".




5. Touch "IVMS".




6. Touch "STEP LAMP".




^ DATA MONITOR and ACTIVE TEST are available for the step lamp.

Trouble Diagnosis




Work Flow

NOTE:
^ When Local Control Unit (LCU) connectors are disconnected for more than 1 minute such as during trouble diagnoses, the "disconnected" data will be memorized by the Body Control Module (BCM). Therefore, afier reconnecting the LCU connectors, erase the memory.
^ To erase the memory, perform the procedure below.
Erase the memory with CONSULT or turn the ignition switch to "OFF" position and remove 7.5 A fuse (No. (14),located in the fuse and fusible link box).





Diagnostic Procedure

SYMPTOM: Step lamp does not illuminate/does not go off when door is opened/closed.
