SERVICE INFORMATION

If a 1998 or 1999 Altima exhibits a front door window rattle noise with the window partially down and the door slammed shut or when the vehicle is driven over rough roads, the door window glass may not be held firmly in place by the glass run rubber.

New left hand and right hand front door glass run rubbers are now available to improve this condition.


SERVICE PROCEDURE

If a window rattle is noticed in either the left hand or right hand front door(s) under the conditions described above, remove and replace the affected front door glass run rubber(s) using the appropriate part number provided in this bulletin.

Use the Service Procedure provided in Technical Bulletin NTB97-072.
