Brake Pedal Assy: Testing and Inspection

Check brake pedal for following items:
- Brake pedal bend
- Clevis pin deformation
- Crack of any welded portion





Check brake pedal free height from dash reinforcement panel.
- H: Free height:
- Automatic Transmission: 167 - 174 mm (6.57 - 6.85 inch)
- Manual Transmission: 158 - 165 mm (6.22 - 6.50 inch)
- D: Depressed height (under force of 490 N (50 kg, 110 lbs.) with engine running): 120 mm (4.72 inch)
- C1, C2: Clearance between pedal stopper and threaded end of stop lamp switch and Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD) switch: 0.3 - 1.0 mm (0.012 - 0.039 inch)
- A: Pedal free play: 1 - 3 mm (0.04 - 0.12 inch)
