Washer Operation
Washer OperationWith the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied
^ through 20 A fuse [No. (20), located in the fuse block (J/B)],
^ to front washer motor terminal (1).
When the lever is pulled to the WASH position, ground is supplied
^ to washer motor terminal (2), and
^ to Body Control Module (BCM) terminal (34)
^ from terminal (18) to the front wiper switch
^ through terminal (17) of the front wiper switch, and
^ through body grounds (E5) and (E39).
With power and ground supplied, the washer motor operates.
The front wiper motor operates at low speed for about 3 seconds. This feature is controlled by the BCM in the same manner as the intermittent operation.
